The Outpost Kitchen

Outpost Kitchen

The Outpost Kitchen, which also may be referred to as an auxiliary kitchen or morning kitchen, is a small kitchen equipped to handle a minimal number of food preparation needs. Often located in mother-in-law suites, master bedroom suites, family rooms, or office, this downsized kitchen contains smaller appliances and fixtures that fit the household's needs for that particular space. This Outpost Kitchen, finished in Colonial Cherry cabinetry by CWP Cabinetry, contains a Hawaiian Green granite countertop from Massanutten Marble and Granite Company. Drinks and select food items can be stored in the under counter refrigerator by Sub-Zero which also includes a small frozen food area and ice maker. Morning coffee is prepared with the capsule style built-in coffee system by Miele. A Spacesaver microwave oven by GE fits perfectly into the space.
